Zinc Plating

Zinc: is a soft, ductile, decorative, marginally solderable, corrosion resistant finish. Unlike most commonly plated metals, zinc protects the piece by sacrificing itself and thus corrodes before the base metal. This means that zinc will protect even if the zinc coating sustains miner damage such as scratches and punctures. This is sometimes an advantage over other types of plating.
Cadmium Plating

Cadminum: Is twice as corrosion resistant as Zinc plating. It is solderable, malleable, prevents electrogalvanic corrosion between fasteners and parts such as aluminum fuselages, and the corrosion products act as lubricants . Cadmium us often used for systems that must be disassembled for maintenance and repair.
Zinc-Nickel

Zinc-Nickel Plating: Has outstanding corrosion resistance which is approximately seven times greater than regular Zinc plating. It is used on a wide variety of parts. It is often used as a base coating before adding a double layer of Xylan which provides up to 5,000 hours of salt spray resistance. This combination is excellent for use in highly corrosive, offshore environments.
Xylan Coating
Xylan coatings help improve performance and extend the life of components. This trusted technology protects from corrosion, chemicals and abrasion, as well as provides low-friction properties to improve release compared to uncoated parts. Xylan is a proven solution for use in many markets including Automotive, Energy generation, Oil and gas.
Gold Plating
Gold is a precious metal that many people equate with high monetary value and aesthetic appeal. In addition, gold has many properties that can protect industrial products and prolong their lifespans. Although gold plating can be more expensive than some other metal finishing techniques, it often delivers the best long-term return on investment.
